DESCRIPTION
This session will focus on advanced patching concepts that will enhance the contact dermatitis toolkit for dermatologists. Topics will include steroid and non-steroid contact allergy, new and emerging allergens in personal care products, plant/botanical allergens, mimickers of contact dermatitis, periorificial dermatitis, and hand dermatitis.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Assess allergic contact dermatitis involving different anatomical sites
Identify ways to improve accuracy in diagnosing allergic contact dermatitis
Examine allergic contact dermatitis in patients with perioperative dermatitis
