BIOGRAPHY
Jonathan S. Weiss, MD, FAAD is an adjunct clinical professor of Dermatology at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. He is a co-managing partner and practices at Georgia Dermatology Partners, in Snellville and Braselton, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta. He performs clinical pharmacology research at Gwinnett Clinical Research Center in his Snellville office. Clinical dermatology remains the focus for Dr. Weiss, as he maintains a full-time medical, surgical, and cosmetic practice. In addition, he oversees an active clinical trial unit studying a wide range of dermatologic conditions and pharmaceutical compounds, having been an investigator in over 240 studies. He has authored or co-authored over 100 publications in medical and dermatology journals. Dr. Weiss is a reviewer and member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has maintained an active clinical and research interest in psoriasis, topical and systemic retinoids, photodamage, actinic keratosis, skin cancer, acne, rosacea, disorders of pigmentation, infectious diseases, and cosmetic dermatology since the mid-1980s.
