BIOGRAPHY

Amy (Dickey) Yeung, MD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a pulmonary and critical care physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is Co-Director of the MGH Porphyria Center and a principal investigator in the MGH Cutaneous Biology Research Center, where she leads clinical and translational research focused on porphyria. Her work includes clinical trials in erythropoietic protoporphyria and translational studies aimed at measuring light sensitivity in EPP and understanding the genetic basis for differences in photosensitivity among patients with EPP. Dr. Yeung completed medical school at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, internal medicine residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, and pulmonary and critical care fellowship through the Harvard-MGH/BIDMC combined program. She also lives with EPP, which led to her initial involvement in porphyria research.
