BIOGRAPHY
Kasey Couts, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and serves as Co-Director of the CU Center for Rare Melanomas, Assistant Director of the CU Skin Cancer Biorepository, and Host Site Director for the Melanoma Research Alliance Biorepository. Her research focuses on rare melanoma subtypes, with an emphasis on tumor biology and responses to targeted and immunotherapies. She also leads efforts to develop preclinical models of rare melanoma and has a particular interest in understanding how the gut-tumor microbiome axis shapes anti-tumor immunity.
