BIOGRAPHY
Surya Khatri is a third-year medical student at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He also graduated from Brown University, where he majored in Economics. His recent research includes conducting a cost–benefit analysis of ophthalmic telemedicine in the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Emergency Department, as well as studying the genotyping of cutaneous metastatic squamous cell carcinoma during a summer research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center under the mentorship of Dr. Marghoob and Dr. Kazi. Outside of medicine, Surya is an avid trumpet player and a competitive player, and champion, of the Royal Game of Ur, one of the oldest known board games in the world.
