BIOGRAPHY

I am a Board-Certified Dermatologist and Assistant Professor at the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. My clinical interests include skin disorders that disproportionately impact patients of color, particularly scarring alopecia, and the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune blistering disorders. I co-founded the Skin of Color Section at NYU, which offers personalized, evidence-based treatment for conditions affecting people with black and brown skin. Through my work as co-founder of this section and director of Health Disparities at NYU, I was able to transform the skin of color curriculum in the residency program, create a diversity ambassador program, and establish a new textured hair clinic at Bellevue Hospital. I have written multiple peer-reviewed medical publications, engaged in clinical trials, and presented research on the national stage. I serve on advisory boards, hold board-level leadership roles in respected dermatologic societies, and remain deeply committed to community service. I always aim to deliver high-quality, patient-centered, culturally competent care to all of my patients.
