BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Di Yan is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and an Affiliate Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where she runs the psoriasis subspecialty clinic and practices dermatopathology with a special focus in cutaneous lymphoproliferative diseases. She holds a dual MD-MS degree in clinical research and completed her dermatology residency at the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU Langone, where she served as chief resident, and a dermatopathology fellowship at Stanford University. Dr. Yan has had broad research experience spanning clinical, translational, and basic science. A recipient of multiple competitive fellowships and research grants through the National Psoriasis Foundation and the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA), her work has been published in high impact journals including NEJM, Science Immunology, and JAAD. Currently, Dr. Yan’s research focus lies in using molecular techniques to enhance diagnostic dermatopathology and understand how host-microbe interactions contribute to autoimmune inflammation.
