BIOGRAPHY
Professor Lidia Rudnicka is a past observer-member of the Board of Directors of the AAD, past member of the Board of Representatives of the EADV and current Chairman of the Scientific Programming Committee of the EADV. She is the head of the Department of Dermatology, Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. Her scientific achievements consist of over 500 publications (total IF > 1000). The main scientific achievement is her contribution to the development of trichoscopy for the diagnosis of hair and scalp disorders. She coined the term "trichoscopy", co-edited "The Atlas of Trichoscopy," and organized the First World Congress of Trichoscopy in Warsaw, Poland. Her clinical interests also focus on autoimmune diseases and cancer prevention. She is an honorary member of several scientific Societies
