BIOGRAPHY
Abraham M. Korman, MD is an associate professor in the department of dermatology at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUMC). After attending medical school at the University of Cincinnati, he completed an internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at OSUMC. He co-founded and co-directs the multidisciplinary rheumatology-dermatology clinic for patients with systemic autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Additionally, he served as the director of the division of inpatient dermatology for 5 years and continues to perform inpatient consults, striving to optimize care for hospitalized patients with dermatologic diseases. He also focuses on underserved health by directing the dermatology section of an outreach clinic for the uninsured Spanish-speaking population in Columbus and directing the dermatology division of the corrections clinic. He is prolific in research, having published more than 120 manuscripts and having presented more than 50 posters. Outside of work, he enjoys running, soccer, gardening, and spending time with his family.
