U100 Pearls from Complex Mohs
DESCRIPTION
This session is aimed towards Mohs Micrographic Surgeons and will include 3 presentations. In the first we will cover pearls for treating large tumors, including surgical planning, tips for excising and grossing the tissue, and treating tumors in challenging anatomic locations (ear, nail unit). In the second part we will discuss the staging and management of high risk cutaneous SCC. Lastly, we will discuss an approach to challenging Mohs stages including pearls for deep resections, obtaining periosteal stages, restoring the external nasal valve and deep defects of the auricle.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
